“It's a shame to see Rat in a cage retire after one game, especially after getting +st on their thrower and 80k more than enough to see them back up to 11.
I think wyrmtainter became progressively more disillusioned with skaven as the game went on. At half time having recieved i was up 2:1 and i felt wyrmtainter had already given up. A 8th turn foul with a gutter runner and few assists probably had more risk than benefit to it. The second half was filled with long suffering noises coming from the opposition coach. Despite being on relatively even terms number wise, the skaven offense seemed to give up and die on itself. Two 1d blockless blocks occured without much incident but the storm vermin, moistened in the rain, was inadequately protected and the elves stole the initiative, taking the score to 3-1. The last skaven offense was similarly half hearted and the elves filled their boots with more spp. A turn 16 foul from the rats summed up their day.
Not a very enjoyable game, one of those ones where you feel you have to explain yourself and justify the dice before scoring. A game that was won with 62% luck and 38% psychology.”
