Commentaries: Bob Bifford and Jim Johnson

----- ----- -----
Jim: Welcome ladies and gentlemen, boys, girls and monsters!
I'm Jim Johnson and I've got Bob Bifford here with me this evening to comment the upcoming game. We're delighted that you could join us for another exciting game of Blood Bowl!
Today we're watching the Wood Elves of Scaramouccia's Comedic Artists team have a go at Onsala Nekromantiska. A lot of people have shown up to watch this game, so what's your prediction on the outcome of this one, Bob?

Bob: Well Jim, I we'll be seeing a few limp elves carried off in this one!

Jim: We can only hope, Bob.

----- ----- -----
The Wood Elves win the toss and elect too receive. The Scaramouccia's Comedic Artists set up in a wide line concentrating on the flanks as they try to avoid the flesh golems of Onsala Nekromantiska.
As soon as the whistle blows SCA snaps into action. They start off with blitzing to open the left flank and continues to secure the ball and hands it over to the team thrower. They then maneuver into scoring positions.

The elves clear a path all the way to the endzone and it all looks good and well, but it's a bit far for Arlecchino to run and he stumbles on the end-zone line!
----- ----- -----

Bob: Did you see that, Jim!?

Jim: Pretty hard to miss that one, Bob! He literally stumbled on the line there, that's got to've hurt.

Bob: Yes, all of a sudden it doesn't look that well for the elves.

----- ----- -----
The elves are desperately trying to clean up the mess of the initial situation and Onsala Nekromantiska almost manages to score instead. Hard work and a lot of excitement along the line of scrimmage finally gets the elves into a position where they can score. Arlecchino, who stumbled earlier got the opportunity to repair his mistake and scores.
----- ----- -----

Bob: That took a lot of effort Jim..

Jim: Indeed, but look at the crowd! They're definately having a good time!

----- ----- -----
The SCA set up in an as wide as possible line to cover up and prevent the NK from scoring. Both teams have an equal number of players hurt or knocked out, so it's a pretty equal game so far.
OK sets up as many as possible strong or expendable players along the line of scrimmage and only a ghoul and a werewolf to pick up the ball.
The bashing begins once again and the elves end up with a player seriously injured. The elves pull as many of their players back as to not get them hurt.
----- ----- -----
End of first half
----- ----- -----

Jim: Welcome back ladies and gentlemen. We're getting ready for the second half, as you can see the players are entering the arena behind me now.

Bob: Yes, we'll see how the undead will do to try to equal the scores, hopefully their manager has done a good job in inspiring his players.

Jim: We'll see about that, time for kickoff.

----- ----- -----
The undead do good job in clearing the path down their left flank and manages to get a good way into the opponents half before they're threatened in any way. Less than halfway into the second half the undead scores.
----- ----- -----

Jim: Well done there, that didn't look too hard to me.

Bob: No, that was a textbook example of how to score, Jim.

----- ----- -----
The elves manage to clear a path and get a catcher all the way into the end-zone but misses the pass. Instead the catcher gets knocked out into the audience and is seriously injured. A lot of fumbling with the ball on the end-zone line ends up with a elf lineman getting killed and raised by Onsala Nekromantiska.
----- ----- -----

Jim: Now that's what I call an exciting end of the game. That was one heck of a game, don't you think?

Bob: Yes, considering it's two brand new teams, I think it was a very exciting game indeed.

Jim: Well, thank you for joining us here at NBC tonight, we're looking forward to the next game.

Bob: We sure do, Jim, Goodnight folks!
