This game was the closest I can remember for a long time - the Orcs battered my hornee fellas all over the pitch, so I was lucky to come out with missing only one player (I saved apo for something worse, and the worst after that was a badly hurt - typical :) ).

Had to battle for every single inch of yardage in the 1st half, and dodges decided the outcome of the game for sure - a dodge (and reroll) to score, a dodge (no reroll, but a bucket of sweat to hand) to deny the Cankers a very much deserved score draw - I was expecting the dodge/blitz to fail, but a knockdown prevented the only player on the Orc side within scoring range from being able to score, and so the game was won by the very tightest of margins. A late, turn 16 long bomb failed (as I expected) but 2-0 would have shown the game in a light it didn't deserve, and 1-1 would have definitely been the fairest result, but sometimes the dice are cruel, and other times they are downright bloody nasty ;)

Cheers for the game Joel, a pleasure as usual, and here's hoping I can get some blocking muscle together for the rematch in a few games time :)
