His luck wasn't great - but was far from terrible, and we took advantage scoring twice in the first half, and causing 3 CAS. Wood elves CAN hurt wood elves, as it turns out - a strategy my "opponent" seemed to be unaware of. Truth be told, the 3rd CAS was the funniest - his treeman BHing itself while going for it. My how we laughed...

The first half ended with much complaing, threats to concede (that's a threat?), and finally a frustration foul from the Monkeys - which is, of course, a valid reason for the gloves to come off in the second period. We might be elves, but we do have an enforcer or two of our own.

We received from the KO, and scored in two - 8 v 6, not so hard. 3-0 then, and looking good for more.

We kicked back to him - now down to 4 players due to another CAS and a KO - to which he responded by ignoring the ball and attempting to fight all 8 of us (and in what universe was that ever going to work?).... We fought back, got the ball, and were set up to score in turn 4, but just to make a point, we fouled at the end of turn 3 to repay his foul from the first half. Splat - Death - failed Apoc.... Now THAT's a foul, we instructively pointed out to our dear "opponent", to which he replied "F**K you", and promptly conceded. I do hope he has a player retired for such a cowardly act.

So, all in all, a good day for the Flyers - for a change we got to do some damage instead of being chased all around the field, which is our usual gameplan.”
