The rain poured down for the duration of this first game of the season for both these teams although a series of bad kicks on both sides limited the rain's effects.

The Ravens' armour held exceptionally well, much to the Axes chagrin, while CD blood was spilt early on with a CD taking an early exit for the hospital and the bull centaurs seemed to have forgotten their armour entirely, getting stunned frequently & then KO'd - one staying out for the entire 2nd half to be joined later by his pal during the winning drive.

2nd half and the CDs could easily have held out for a draw after surviving a blitz but they took the cavalier approach to try and win the game and keep it exciting (for the DEs at least!) but it backfired as the team's form deserted them entirely.

Thanks for the game Sk8bcn - our games are always close and fun! Good luck with these guys in the rest of the tourney.
