“A bit of bad luck for me at the end of the first half led to en easy score for the Elves. I was unable to hand off to Fonute Devilsmasher, who was ready to prance into the end zone, and acquire a new skill. A failed handoff, a bad scatter, and a nimble elf turned my advantage into a 0-1 hole for me to climb out of.

I was able to tie the game up in my 6th turn of the second half, and sealed the tie with an interception from, fittingly, Cuni Elfcrusher.

The Bunnies stood silent for a brief moment after the game in memory of Peter Schmiechel, one of the finest stars my humble team has had the pleasure of watching play Blood Bowl. Peter killed himself trying to leap away from a potential blocker. In fact, of the 2 serious injuries and 1 death in the game, my team caused none of them. Thankfully, the Elves' apothecary was able to revive the first casualty.

I'd be happy to take on any of Bain's teams in the future, but I'll keep my fingers crossed that his luck runs the same way next time. ”
