“So comes the end of our adventure in the Fumbbl Xcup, loosing against a strenghtfull opponent.
We are not ashamed of our loosing this game, The Scots Greys are a good and equilibrated team and they had much difficulties winning this game.

The game started very well for us, 1round, 3rd block and one of the newb black orks is hurt then the Scots suffered 5 ko's for a (late?) Td by turn 8. We thought the hardest was made but we got caught by surprise with a nice goblin throw for a 2 GFI TD just during the last turn of the first Half. All was to be done....

On second Half, the Scots Greys took the ascendant slowly, but surely in spite of the tough defense of the Zonards. We managed to tackle the ball carrier just 2 squares from scoring on turn 12 and then to put the ball out of bounds but it got back in the field closer to some Scots players that got the ball back and scored by turn 14.

Then the fans choose to throw a rock, letting only 7 of my players up, with the 2 bullcentaurs stunned. Nevertheless, a very audacious play in the center of the ground with two 1 dice blitzes in both turns allowed us to have a receiver in the scoring zone but he was unable to control Slomingh's perfect long pass for overtime.
