“A few ups and downs, delayed scoring the first touchdown to surf the +ma, guard blitzer. This ultimately cost me the touchdown as Ckndtckaiouei was brought down and killed and only a desperation blitz by Thndwdaieeu prevented zara from breaking away and scoring at the other end. The second half didn't look too good, but the lizards were fortunate to have looney tossa stop just within range of S-lor'i who dropped her like a rock. Ckndtckaiouei darted in, grabbed the loose ball and was off to the races. This time he definitely didn't stop short and ran all the way home as fast as his little legs could carry him.
It took a while, but the skinks finally got on the board in season 14.
3 Points: #10 Leg Breaka. Crucial blitz knocked the ball loose from Ckndtckaiouei when the little skink was free on the break in the first half. Killing him the next turn (apothed) just added a little extra.
2 Points: #2 Throat Rippa. Much like the lizards they were lacking in tackle so this blitzer was kept busy trying to control the skinks. Did an alright job of it and was a danger the whole match.
1 Point: #5 Bone Krasha. The only player on the team with enough strength to go toe to toe with a saurus was kept busy much of the game doing just that. Some good clearing hits set up the offence. ”
Well, an interesting match. A point of interest, Kysht was actually missing this game, and spent it standing around signing autographs. Apparently this is a very important part of the game, and he was awarded the MVP for doing so.
A well deserved win to the lizards. Faulcon played well, and took advantage of my various mistakes. With Get the Ref in the first half, Elbow Kikka really stuck the boot in, though it was Leg Breaka that killed Silibili (also on a foul). I should have continued fouling in the second half, but with a mix of poor placement, and forgetting that I had Bribe the Ref, there weren't really any great fouling opportunities (ok, maybe there were a few, but I never got around to fouling).
Those skinks are a real pain though - I struggled to knock them down all match, and the ones with AG4 .... quite a nightmare to deal with.
PS: Congrats to the Skinks being the second team to win against the Orks, and the only team (so far) to keep them from scoring.

3 pts - #10 Ckndtckaiouei
As well as actually scoring the only TD of the match, this guy took the ball pretty much the full length of the pitch ... twice. fell over at all. He took several hits, and kept to his feet well.
2 pts - #9 Thndwdaieeu
After some rather lucky rolls on my part, this guy proved that even the little guys can put in a good hit. He made a successful 1d POW on Zara, preventing a touchdown for the orks in the first half, and handing the ball to Ckndtckaiouei, who's pass to Xies-ler-aym was dropped in the end zone.
1 pt - #5 S-lor'i - As the skinks sole tackler, he had a lot to live up to. Made a few good hits, including a casualty, and also knocking down the ball carrier so that Ckndtckaiouei could make off with it all the way to the end of the field.”
