Note re luck meter and replay file. Game disconnected during my turn 7 second half, when the luck meter was 58-44 in my favour. I had just fouled his Kroxigore and KO'd it but this was not saved (it was the very last action on my team so not saved in the INC. We loaded, synced a few times and there were two balls. Sio had had a pretty crappy game and said he was just going to end turn anyway as the game was almost over. As there were two balls on the pitch (and I wasn't going to score anyway to give T16 blocks on the LOS) and the result was beyond doubt and I still had my apoth, I just did my pass and we finished the game.

Both teams had hired a wizard. The Dinosaurs had hired Sibili as well. The Falcons made both niggle rolls but the Dinosaurs failed their roll - on a dirty player Skink and Siokawta apothed him to bring him into the game!!!

I want to thank Siokawta for his patience during the game. He did not complain about the luck, and didn't complain when I had to get up several times to deal with my 2 year old who kept climbing out of bed.

The game started with the Falcons fans killing the referee! The replacement ref was clearly spooked and looked like he would not call any violations on the Falcons which was bad news on the Dinosaurs.

The Dinosaurs started in offence and brought the ball up. A foul on them on one of the Falcons Blitzers did not penetrate armour.

The Falcons used their Wizard straight away, knocking over all three Saurai that were protecting the Skink ball handler. Valdrek injured the ball carrier on a 3 dice blitz before scooping up the ball. The Falcons players spread out and then played a game of ball control.

Both teams exchanged fouls, but the Falcons were slowly getting ahead as they KO'd and injured players. After a while the Dinosaurs had no Skinks left on the field and outnumbered and screened from the ball, could not stop the Falcons stalling and scoring at the end of the half.

The next half saw the Falcons start off in offence and struggle to get the ball far upfield. A fireball knocked over the Falcons ball carrier but there were too many companions protecting the ball and the Falcons scored again to take a 2-0 lead.

The Dinosaurs were running short of players, especially with the injuries and their DP failing his KO roll again.

Then the sealer, a Blitz! The Falcons recovered the ball and held onto it to secure the win.

Thanks to my opponent again for his patience with the reload and also my having to take breaks.

He really had unlucky dice today and the handicaps were not that helpful.

Even with the handicaps today, without at least even luck, the Dinosaurs had litttle chance against a far superior team with their rolls being so average to poor.
