“The crowd came out cheering for the first game for Shadow Bite! The team responded well seeing as how they were out-rostered by the opponents' elves. But a lot of luck and six re-rolls helped them preserve the tie.

The Bite kicked off and found themselves being out manuevred everywhere on the pitch. After rushing backwards, Vlad Mandragor handed the ball back to the thrower, who made a nice soaring ball over the heads of the Thralls, in the blazing sun, which landed right where it needed to go. V V V scored an easy touchdown.

But the Bite had a surprise! Using a keen switching play the game went from bad to great when Satina reciaved the handed off ball and rushed in for a touchdown after the Thralls made a gritty cage around him. The bashing was tough, but in the end, the Thralls won out, and scored their first ever touchdown!

But the Darkies weren't down and out yet. They scored a quick two turn touchdown despite the Bite's good positioning. With only one turn to respond, they couldn't manage to stop it. The score was 2 - 1 going into halftime.

After recieving in the second half, they pulled a similar play. An unfortunate error from coach MrButch gave the Bite the chance they needed to score and easy touchdown.

With four turns remaining, it was inevitable that the Darkies would score. But even with the sun hiding back into the clouds, the passer Valdraes Thornn was unable to throw the ball downfield, which resulted in the crowd getting their grubby hands on it. They tossed it to the mid-pitch area where there were only a few players (most of the V V V players were trying to retreat on the left flank). Thornn got the ball again, but missed the pass again, and the Thralls were able to pounce on it the last turn, preserving the tie.

However, on the last drive, poor Satina had his hand smashed and the apothecary failed (Coach Oblitzamanger later found out that his credentials were falsified). He would have to miss the next game along with Moudrount, and his hand would hurt him ever since.

Despite this, the fans had a great time and the Bite's following increased. They managed to throw a rock at the Darkies, and get their hands on the ball. This new style of playing was encouraged by the coach and as a result, more fans are going to show up to the next game ot get in on the fun.

After the match. the coaches shared kind words with each other. Most notably, coach Oblitzamanger praised coach MrButch for his performance and hoped for the best for his team. As for the Bite, well they now move into first place in Oblitzamanger's private tournament, the Blitz Invitational, by default (they are the only team to have played a game so far). With this game came 9 points: 2 for the tie, 6 for the two touchdowns, and 1 for a completion. The Bite hopes to gain more points. Stick around and watch them later. They're chasing the Championship!”
