#10 Weebor – Dead (RIP)
“This was a great match - full of team firsts. As well, it was good to find an old friend happily playing blood bowl. The norse brutally slew young Weebor, as well as causing a few other injuries, but nothing else permanent. We missed a pick-up with a Bull at the end of the first half, and it might have won us the game. Oh well - a fun game, and even though it broke our win streak, at least it wasn't a loss. Our first nonregular skill, with Vramm Trogaad picking up Stand Firm. We replaced Weebor with our winnings.”
A botched play on their part, gave us the lead in the first half. We managed to hold them for the rest of the half and entered the second barely holding onto a lead.
We received the ball in the second, which would normally have given us hope of holding them off or maybe putting up another TD. However, having 5 men unable to field because they were afraid to wake up didn't help. They managed to force a turnover and score. Our second drive didn't fair much better, until the end when our players finally figured out the armour of our opponents, which evened things up a little bit. Still couldn't score, but forced the ball deep into their zone before they could force a turnover. A small long bomb pass for a win for them, but couldn't get a chance to pull it off.
