“Green Silence got off to an excellent start in their debut match. This match was opposing coach Draean's first match, and was sure to be an exciting affair. In the first half, the Frankfurter High Elves lined up and tried to slug it out with the Lizardman Saurus, and Krobahr (How un-elfly!). The elves had their finely sewn uniforms torn and muddied in a hurry, and lizardman skinks raced to be first to the ball and go to the endzone. The elves gamely soldiered on through the first half, but their play was uninspired, and the touchdowns piled up. The halftime score was 3-0, in favor of Green Silence.

The second half began with a Frankfurter kickoff, and clearly the coach had strategic words with his players during the interval. The high elves dodged and weaved and tried to avoid getting splattered, but a Green Silence found a way into the end zone. On the next possession, the High Elves blizted up the left side of the field, opening a gap. Lion Warrior Receivin raced down the sideline, to within 5 paces of a score before being gangtackled by three lizardman skinks.

Green Silence recovered the ball, but a blitzing Dragon Warrior, Expensive, put an end to that! He raced up and kicked Beorgol the Dark right where it counts, and snapped up the bouncing ball. Green Silence players rushed back to regain the ball, but no one could really get a good grip on it. Llyxerf the Tongue broke an arm in the scramble, and had to be removed from the field. The ball bounded here and there and ended up Between's Krobahr's feet. Krohbar was content to beat on the nearby elves, until four of them got together and pushed him off the ball. In their haste, none of them remembered to pick up the ball, and Ruilkio the Yellow scooped up the ball and raced off, with another touchdown the result.

A fine first effort for the Frankfurters, best of luck to them in their Blood Bowl careers.”
