“Another exciting match with the Oogling Ogres has taken place! This time the opponents were the High Elves of the GreenMoon team!

On a rainsoaked pitch, the match was finaly off with a rumbling start as the Ogres recieved the kick off and executed their now famous right flank cage manouver.

After a tumultous martch along the sideline, Fleg - tenacuously clinging to the ball - could finaly make a break and run for a touchdown!
(He was later injured after a missthrow by the ogre Grum.)

At the second lineup, one huge ogre fan threw a boulder the size of an anvil on the head of an unsuspecting High Elf lineman, who tragically succumbed with a smashed skull.

In the beginning of the second half, the elves prepared for an offensive that would even the scores, but they were surprised by the ogres nearly perfect defense, and had to switch to plan B.

This ment going down the right, where two of the goblins were guarding the flank.
They were a bit to eager to break through though, and the ball carrier exposed himself for an ogre blitz.
The offensive was soon bogged down, as the ogres smashed into the side of the elves.

In the ensuing clamour, Snortyyelp was pushed off the pitch and beaten to death by enraged High Elf supporters.
A couple of the elves were also pushed off court and ended up in the K.O. room.

The ball temporarily landed in the hands of Grum, but a well placed tackle from a Dragon Knight got it loose. It went on a mad bounce, and shifted hands several times, until a elf lineman got a hold of it.
This didn't last long though, as a huge ogre pushed him over the sideline.

The ball was thrown in by the crowd, landing just a few yards from the elf endzone. One of the goblins broke loose and snatched the ball and was just yards from a touchdown, as one of the elves managed to dodge through the cage of ogres, knock him down and carry it off!

Still, it was a win for the ogres!

The new recruit, Gogbarth, showed he had the spirit as he managed to land seven good tackles during the game.”
