2 dp's rounded off a very fine team with 2 AG3 Bull centaurs and a ST4 Dorf.

On top of which he got 'illegal drugs' as the handicap.

With despair-filled eyes I begged the wizard to be money well-spent.

He received and bunched up nicely as CD tend to do.

As the headcoach nodded the wizard let loose a fireball knocking over 5 out of 6 dorfs/bulls incl a KO Htark!

Far from easy but I could score late. (pouring rain a pain for both really)
With Htark KO I stalled all the way to turn 8 with the hope that the Star would remain KO of course.

it was not to be.

Still; 1-0 up and I received.

My turn 1 all went pear-shaped including a failed pick-up of the AG4. beast (whom was promised a lashing after the game)

The eager CD rushed in and over-extended, the AG4 picked it up and sent the ball to a CW sent deep for just a case like this. (desperation I know)

It all worked.

2-0 with only 4 or so turns left for him and still pouring rain.

It was enough in the end even if he made me pay through the nose for it!
(apo failed on block/guard beast and claw/frenzy MNG)

The only real damper on my mood was the AG4 beast aging on his 3rd skill.

Grrr.
