“What an embarrasing match for the Vampire team. However, they got enough money for two more thralls, and no casualties were taken that would effect the next game.
The flings started off with a throw team mate play that worked due to insufficient coaching on the side of the Bite. The vamps then scored back with a loose cage with their new player, the one and only vampire, scoring the touchdown.
The second half was crazy though. Trying to form a cage, the vamps took to the near side of the pitch. But after taking four turns to form a crappy cage, the Bite lost the ball. An untimely interception by Randy ruined the Bite's chances of scoring. He was thrown by a treeman to the other side of the pitch and even with two players hunting him down, he dodged twice into two tackle zones to score the winner. Had he failed or been knocked down, the Bite was in ample position to score.
A well deserved victory for the flings, which was marred, once agian, by the rowdy Vampire fans. They are unable to stay calm in their seats and have for the thrid time out of three games, affected the game in another way. This time it was for the good of their team, by badly hurting Perry off a crowdpush.
Both coaches had a mutual agreement of friendship after the game. Coach Oblitzamanger apalogized for his fans, but they will continue to be rowdy game after game. The coach also wished coach fabik good luck with his team and wished for a re-match to teach those flings a lesson (there was not nearly enough carnage in this game, perhaps there will be more later...).
The Bite earned 7 more points for their mini-tournament, the Blitz Invitational. They continue to vie for the championship.”
