Pre-game Byte said that the number of cas I made early was going to be important. After his first TD I tore the rats apart, making 5 cas first half, and ending it 1-1. A crucial moment was when I dropped the ball and his ag5 runner fell over on a dodge, knocking himself out. 0-2 at that point could very well have cost me the game.
For second half I put my players together, but not all of them in one spot, fearing his wizard. Still his fireball hit hard, and the ball bounced the way my players had gone down. The rats took it and screened their runner, who stalled the game down until turn 4, and scored 1-2 for the Children. I wasn't overly concerned as they could only field 7 players to defend. With some resistence, and the rats first cas, I still walked in 2-2 last turn, needing a 2+ gfi.
Overtime, 6 rats left to fight, and I recieved the ball. Walked forwards, bashing some rats. Had time to hand it over to a rookie longbeard, wanting a new skill. Forgot that it was not golden goal, and scored in turn 5. Still, only 3 rats remained to fight me, after his last good runner fell over and BH himself, it only gave me another TD. 4-2 end game, and what a bunch of cas!

The children did not fear the shortlegged men from the mountains, they had faith in the horned, that he was strong enough to protect their fur against the sharp steel.
prepareing for the match, in the lockerroom - the team captain was found missing, a note from the local rat's office was discriping our leading storm vermin had been arrested for a fight in the local bar the night before. the children was sure the bearded dorfs was to blame for this arrest!
the ref yelled for kickoff, and before the dorfs managed to locate the ball, a fast score from #1 Musling Havkat allready was underway.
the dorfs was busy bashing our fellow rats, and our numbers was falling to critical. even though the fighting spirit was still in place, the rats had a tough job to do.. a sack from our plagued ogre found its way in the dwarfen ranks, and gravemist saw his way to the ball, sadly the sewers he was useing for a shortcut was blocked up by barrels of beer, he couldent return to the pitch. yet another sneaky move from the dorfs. soon a score for the dorfs was seen, and halftime ended a tie.
the childrens wizzard had allmost his dark ritual ready, he had been prepareing it for months. he wisely used the half time to put out gasoline on the line of scrimmage, stolen from the dorfs famous deathroller.
As 2nd half started, the dorfs swiftly formed a cage at the line, the ball was kicked perfectly in the middle of the pool of gasoline. soon a thunderclap sounded, fire was everywhere, and there was nothing but the smell of burned meat. the rats quickly took advantage of the chaos created, grabbed the ball and outflanked the dorfs..
the children was in the lead yet again.
the children was running low on rats.. most was suffering from their injuries caused by the mad dorfs. there wassent much to do, and the dorfs ended for a tie..
the children arent used to overtime, so all but 3 brave rats left the stadium, what happent after, i will know when they report back, they are still missing in action..
