#7 Ikoeh Nighthorn – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#7 Ikoeh Nighthorn – Smashed Hip (-MA)
Aaargh, sputtle, couch!! I blame society! One should know that many of the members of my team has had some very bad experiences growing up. Furthermore; it was as matlthor said, a fair number of skulls/ones, so I think I blame him too. My apothecary sucked, cause I didn´t use him; shame on him and boooh! Ikoeh Nighthorn is a crappy player and had it coming, I blame him the most!
But to be honest and thruthful(Not my best skills), I faced a REALLY good team, for me the outcome was kind of given; but I had to try! Malthor is great coach, and I don´t think I would have endavoured the match if had been starting gloating or something like that.

So, to sum it up; It was a blast, my Maraders deserved this loss and a great eloge to Malthor and his Blood Falcon´s.

Handicaps were:

Bad Press
It Wasn't Me (on my AG5 MA7 Leaper)
Doom and Gloom
Buzzing
Bribe the Ref2

One of the two Falcon nigglers failed his roll.
----------------
Well it was a comedy of errors.

I also fielded the wrong Thrower to start the game... my AG5 Safe Throw guy, instead of the Str4 Blodge Tackle Sidestep Mighty Blow Valdrek Bloodgaze!!! What an idiot I was! Days of sleep deprivation taking their toll heh.

My opponent's first block was with his frenzied player who promptly did a push, then had a 2 dice my choice block. Double skulls, rerolled into Skull and Push (Skull chosen).

The Falcons quickly ran in and stole the ball and scored.

However, rerolls were running out quick with three double skulls in 3 turns.

The Marauders were having similiar problems with lousy ball handling and block rolls.

Then the Falcons started to assert a player advantage, causing casualty after casualty. In the end, it was 2/5/0 (with 1 SI from a dodge).

The Falcons had a walk in score late in the first half, but instead, with no team RR left, tried to hand off to a player with fewer spp and got a 1.

Another chance on turn 8, but a double skulls was the first action.

Second half, the Marauders were vastly outnumbered and continued to roll badly. Both teams were having some bad luck on the dice (we were both 48 luck early in the first half) but the far superior players on the Falcons team (and their numerical advantage) were able to apply the pressure and score two more times on defence.
-------------------
Anyways, it was always going to be a tough match for my valiant opponent with some very cruddy handicaps, but he played on cheerfully and was a great sport. Although I caused 2/4/0, the only permanent was a -1 MA on a niggled Lino who was going to get the sack anyway so no biggie.

Good luck to you Cirion and I look forward to rematch when your team is stronger.
