“Well the game started off well with a SI to the rats RO and a BH on the ST4 linerat. Managed to score a slow cage TD on the 5th turn but on the next kickoff things started to go bad. First of all the skaven managed a 8th turn TD, quickly followed by another at the start of the 2nd half. Fair enough I figured, time for a drive to get the tieing TD. Unfortunately on the receiving kickoff I got blitzed, this wouldn't have been a massive disaster given I had setup deeper just in case. Unfortunately the 2 times I got the ball, the first time my thrower fumbled the pass, the second time my receiver dropped a catch. This was rather frustrating given both times a reroll was used (pass and team reroll). Shortly after that the score was 3-1 to the rats with little or no chance of recovering anything from the game.

I setup for the 4th drive to try and get a couple of spp's for my blitzer as a consolation, lo and behold on the kickoff this time we got throw a rock which hit my Troll and left him dazed on the floor from which he flat out refused to get up till the following kickoff. 1 Down before the drive had even started was bad enough but the hole left in my LoS meant I couldn't for a cage properly and eventually the ball got knocked free and resulted in a 4th TD for the rats. All in all the dice were fair throughout but the kickoff table really turned the game around and once your chasing scores against skaven you've already lost.

I think my comment after the 4th TD about summed up my mood in the match "I've been mauled 4-1 by rats and I've done nothing wrong :-(". Congrats on the thrashing goto jolt perhaps in the rematch I can get a bit better run on the kickoff table.”
