Actually, I been stalking Woodstock's other team heh.

Anyways, it was a fun close game with lots of insane luck for both of us.

I certainly felt robbed in the first half to go down first 0-1 then again 1-2. I was in offence but languishing with my blocks etc and had about 46% luck deep into the opening half. I could not penetrate and was swamped by his players and soon lost the ball.

My opponent with no rerolls left was able to score in two turns to take the lead back.

Second half, I had a lucky break with a cruel pitch invasion. What do I get on my two dice blitz on his ball carrier? Double skulls. Second time I had a two dicer on his ball carrier and got double skulls and again he scored and I was down 3-1.

At 3-1 down, I did a silly pass just for the sake of it. This gave my opponent a chance to blitz my ball caririer... 3 dice (rerolled) did not yield any pows! Some very nice luck for me, making up for one or both of the double skulls I had on his ball carrier earllier.

I managed to score after two attempts with a young catcher rather than score with an already very developed one.

Then I had some very good luck to snatch the draw at the end. A blitz! Without kick, the square was a good one (within reach though in two tackle zones). I managed to get enough players to the ball, though I snaked my NOS catch with Catch reroll and the scatter was generous (behind my 3 players). My opponent couldn't get to the ball and I had the rolls required to pull off a tie.

Post game, no aging for a 76 and 51 so an excellent outcome for my team. Woodstock however was very unlucky to suffer 2/1/2 and thust take two permanents.

He certainly played a top game and kept me under pressure.

I think it is fair to say we robbed each other a couple of times dueing the game. I was screwed for most of the first half due to the cruddy dice, and one steal attempt netting double skulls. Second half, my opponent was screwed by a pitch invasion that did stunned 6 of his, and only one of mine, then I was screwed by my second snakes blitz on his ball carrier.

Then I got the final bit of luck robbery at the end with the nice blitz .

All in all, a pretty fair game with the dice, except for the cruel injuries suffered by my opponent.

It was a fun match and my opponent was very good and I certainly look forward to another match sometime :)/”
