“A very enjoyable first half, both sides scoring quickly. Next drive turned messy in the centre of the field, but thanks to a very tough ball carrier and some lucky ball scatters I managed to make the score 2:1 by the end of the 1st half.

I kicked off the 2nd half, and Stikki wasted little time in leveling the scores once more. This left me 5 turns to score and secure the first win for this team - but I think this is where my good luck ran out! Blitz! on the kick-off table let Stikki rush into the ball and my already weakened team (down 2 or 3 players by this point) couldnt stop him scoring a third. Now I faced 4 turns to salvage a draw from the match, but a Perfect Defense on the next kick-off meant a re-think of my plans once again! A few failed dice rolls, a mysterious failed Buzzing! handicap bug and a serious injury later and it was all over, only a failed pass on his 8th turn denigning Stikki a 4th T.D.

Despite the change of luck it was a very enjoyable game, a good tough challenge and I got a sizable amount of winnings from it. The team is still looking for that first win though! Cheers for the match Stikki, hope for a re-match in a future round.
