“Thus the Bite took to the pitch for the last time until they would play the first round Championships for the Blitz Invitational. And they totally got lucky as they finally prayed to Nuffle and were on the good end of a bash fest (unlike their past few games, versus Halflings!).

The first half was crazy. Both apothecaries were used in the first four turns total. Caleb from Agione de Mousillon was killed on the very first turn, and a thrall from the Bite got his back damaged on the opponent's second turn, causing both coaches to successfully use their apothecaries.

The Bite recieved and Agione got a perfect defense, however, despite this, the Bite was able to cope after it looked like it would another game where they were outplayed and outbashed. However, By tying down the Vampires, the Bite managed to form a cage that proved unbreakable around Empirical. He then scored. The Bite managed to stop the opponent's drive by seriously injuring their star Vampire (who was Buzzing at the time) Count Henri de Mousillon. However, he regenerated just like Domantrius, the Bite's only Vampire, regenerated form a Badly Hurt the same half. So at halftime, it was 1 - 0.

The second half was even crazier. Voscount Gelebert de Mousillon was killed in a block and didn't regenerate. Oh the pity it wasn't a badly hurt, but both teams looked on as they fought for the ball that was in Agione's poseesion. But with another thrall from Agione being killed in another block, the team had no chance as the Bite managed to steal the ball, form a cage around Domantrius, and score a few turns later with only five Agione players to futily stop it.

With nothing left to do late in the game, another thrall was killed by his own Vampire when it couldn't resist the lust of fresh blood. The game was utterly marred by such a death display.

However, both team's fans appreciated the carnage and the followings of both teams increased as a result. Agione got a good amount of money to rebuild their team, as did the Bite, but not enough for the sentiemtal value that Voscount Gelebert had for the team. Both sides will miss him...

The luck ratings are crap and both coaches knew it. It is in the opinion of this reporter that the real luck ratio should have been about 75% - 45%. The score acurrately depicted the game, although it was mostly decided by Nuffle. Coach Oblitzamanger said after the game that he wanted to thank coach Bahriel for the game and to wish him good luck with rebuilding the team in the future. That was all he had time to say as he then ran off to make a hecatomb sacrifice to Nuffle right there on the pitch.

However, Domantrius did have something to say to us after the game. Wiping the blood off his mouth, he told us in his full glory, "We really came out and pounded them. The snacks, er, thralls felt bad that they screwed up the last game, so they really wanted to impress coach Oblitzamanger, and they did. I think the team is ready for the Blitz Invitational."

The team earned 20 for the Blitz Invitational. Since this was their fifth game, they now have ot wait for the other teams to complete five in order to begin the first Championship round.

When asked what went through his head when he was badly hurt, Domantrius said, "I was hungry... I knew I couldn't let my team down by being in the dugout, so I just had to regenerate so I could come back. It worked too. I inflicted a death and a concussion and scored. I earned the most SPPs for the team today as any Vampire should. I rolled a double skill, although coach Oblitzamanger hasn't decided what to teach me yet."

So there you have it folks. The Shadow Bite's next game will be in the Blitz Invitational. Their opponent is to be announced.”
