“The Amazons took to the field for the first time as they battled Orcs in their opening match!

The game started in the pouring rain and the Orcs were unable to pick up the ball. The Slash put as many bodies around it as possible, and when the thrower, Brazodeogro finally picked it up, he was left exposed by his teammates and Samira, the obvious star of the match for the Slash, killed him in one blow. She then picked up the bouncing ball, in the pouring rain remember, and ran for and scored, only having to dodge once. The score was marred by the untimely death of the Orc thrower, but it was only the begining of a brutally bloody match.

The Orcs were unable to pick it up again, and even if they did, it was in their own endzone and too far back for them to score. At halftime it was 1 - 0.

When the Amazons recieved, the rain stopped, but they were outnumbered and out manned in terms of strength ny the Orcs. Even though Tostado, a big Black Orc Blocker recieved a Grion Strain from, you guessed it, Samira, the Orcs were able to pin down the Slash's offense in what was a pathetic attempt at a drive for the Amazons. After a desperately fumbled throw, the Orcs managed to push the Amazons around and find the ball (for the Amazons had a nasty habit of staying on their feet the entire game due ot being great at doging). After a pass to a lineorc, they scored a well deserved touchdown through patient and highly organized defense.

The Amazons managed to hold onto the draw in the end and earned 11 points towards the Blitz Invitational in their first game.

Only Patricia suffered an injury that would carry over, and she would only have to miss the next game due to a Broken Arm. The passer can't have a broken arm and be able to pass!

Coach Oblitzamanger made a staement to the press after the game. This is what he said. "I want to thank coach klendar for the match and wish him good luck with his team in the future. I am sorry Samira killed Brazodeogo, but things happen. She was feeling mighty fierce today. I think some guy dumped her after he learned that she played Blood Bowl. All the better for us, as I have taught her how to guard. This team is good and they did an exceptional job staying on their feet today when they were blocked and and when they dodged. I give a lot of credit to the girls. I also want to thank coach klendar for the re-load problems and finally, I want to thank Nuffle for the well being of our team."

We got a statement from Samira after the game. She said, "I'll hunt you down Kenny! I thought I loved you. Now you shall DIE, just as that green bump in the road died! If I ever see you again, you're gonna DIE!"
