Khemri won the fight, and the Ogres won the match. Ra laid out Muzrog early on, and the boys went goblin hunting.

The theory was, shut down the goblins, and the Ogres won't be handling a lot of ball, and when you hit 'em, they go pop. Once a bit o' brutalising goes on, even the Khemri can get over the line. Right? Wrong!

Ogres got their swing on, the gobbo's dodged like their was a Mummy after them, and Gregory made the best of slivers of gaps. Once the ball dislodged itself from my ever fumbling hands, the gobbo's were there, their agility paid off, and he scored, for the cost of a niggle of another gobbo.

In the second half I put out the long line, to encourage the Gobbo throw, and enfolded his cage. Despite pressure on the thrower, the TTM was spot on, and the gobbo ran upfield like his life depended on it. One of the skeletons ran backfield in cover defence, but it was to late...

Or was it? Dagargl tried to hit a skeleton, and mis threw the blow so badly, and Ptah pulled out a blow so sickening, the gobbo ignored the touchline to look. Thoth kept on up the field, and put Ikk into the casulaty bin.

The Khemri were back on. Next pulse Thoth grabbed the ball first go, and flung it upfield. Anubis was there to scoop.. Dammit. Anubis scoops, and looked upfield to Horus. Fumble! Dammit! Last chance, turn eight, for the equaliser.....

They are Khemri. What do you think. Fumble. Of course.

Twahnlows:

#10 Nerkum: 3 points for the TD
#2 Grugemm the Devourer: 2 points for block rate.
#3 Ugrug of Mordheim: 1 point for block rate.

#5 Muzrog Gold-Tooth – Smashed Hip (-MA)
I was very please with this match. I felt that a couple of important dice rolls didnt go as expected but it didnt upset my play - my first season in regionals and a god learning experience cming up against such quality coaches seems to be paying off.

Overall - the Khemri bashed th eBandits more than I expected but the game plan to stick at it, sneak a TD then try to control the ball worked quite well. A relatively costly match but a win is a win. Very good performance from batgoon - with the odd dice roll going in his favour he could (or probably should) have gotten a draw.

Twahnlows:
3 points: Ra - 12 blocks, 2 casualties including an ogre.... what more can I say
2 points - Thoth - 6 blocks and a casualty for a skeleton
1 point - Kahmen - skeleton who not only got a casualty but also handled the ball!
