“More of an empirical experiment than a match really. But I'll be darned if these little guys didn't almost pull it off.

1st half:

A well placed rock BH's the Norse thrower sitting by his lonesome back to receive the kickoff. 'flings get all excited thinking this could turn into a TTM grab and score, but a lineman manages to scoop up the ball and whip it to an open +AG lineman who runs right.

Ballcarrier gets ahead of the screen and gets shoved back a step. Norse open up a running lane but choose to stop short of the goalline and watch as the 'flings make 3 dodges to mark and dislodge the ball into the corner of the endzone where the Norse stall for a couple more turns. Finally a 2-die opp.choice gets a push and the ball gets knocked out of bounds and throw back into reach of the 'flings.

'flings grab the ball and spend two turns attempting to throw it to an open "receiver" on the Norse side of the pitch but fumble both attempts and squander a possible scoring opportunity. The passer is crowdpushed and killed by angry Hair Club fans. 0-0.

2nd half:

'flings receive a bad kick and set up to roll left, see and small seam to the right, and stun everyone they hit + make every dodge to screen to the right sideline. Norse blitzers mark the forward blockers and following turn surround the ballcarrier. With no other real options, decide to make the unlikely 3-dodge break for the endzone but the runner ko's himself and leaves the ball laying in the open.

Norse lineman picks up the ball and short passes to a blitzer who makes the catch and runs for daylight. A lone 'fling gives chase. The ballcarrier is in scoring range but decides to blitz the chaser down and finished his move 3 squares away. 'fling stands back up, dodges free, and 2-die opp.choice hits the runner...double skulls, reroll, double dodge pows. On turn 8 the 'fling is knocked away and the blitzer picks up the ball for the 1-0 win.

Chuckle moment: Seeing the crowd kill Badguns in retaliation for fumbling two consecutive passes. Stupid 'fling.

Post game: Retired 3 nigglers and need to replace another death, but can only afford 2 'flings at the moment. So, we'll be playing our next match a bit shorthanded.”
