“As the circus arrived home from their long adventures news came to them of new group of challengers who would arrive tomorrow. They made ready a wonderful vegetarian feast for their unknown visitors.
Then the dark coaches arrived black as night an evil aura and stench of foul hung over them. The Thralls who drove the coaches seemed to accept the food with reluctance but the mysterious occupants of the coaches never revealed themselves.

The midnight runners as these humans called themselves said that the game could only be played at night. The circus did care why not they said

So at midnight the game and mysterious occupants were reveals as vampires the woodies gasped in shock.

And the game kicked off with a typical pitch length score from the circus with robinson handing off to beckham who passed to waiting gerrard in the end zone

At the next drive the Midnight runners tore through the elven defence and with nothing between them and the line Jeff Von Drakwald dropped it. The Circus grabbed the ball but decided to go safe rather than score. This was a mistake Dorthea threw terry to the ground. but neither side were able to get control of ball and score. but in the melee for the ball Robinson hurt himself running to pick up the ball and lampard was koed by nicely timed kick to head while on the floor

The Second half

Midnight runners received but soon in trouble as gerrard stripped the ball from Hansi. And after scrum to get the ball gerrard came up with held off three tacklers to run in and score.

The Midnight runners score came in the next drive with Jeff sacking terry grabbing the ball and running it in.
The Circus finished the game with a Td from Cole in typical style.
A great game in good atmosphere against a good but unlucky opponent
