“Tough hard game against a skaven team that has 2 nasty storm vermin - Snarly (claw+RSC) and Chewy (Claw+Piling on).
Needless to say, after one of them KILLED one of my linemen in turn one, we had to adjust our tactics, target the two killing machines, and then stall to keep them from getting KO recoveries. Not the way I like to play, but when yr apoc is gone in turn one and there are two killing machines on the field, needs must.
The first half went well, stopping a rat attack, recovering the ball, and carefully moving it downfield, scoring in the 8th, after KOing one of the razor-rats.
Turn 2 began in a similar mode - 10 hummies vs 9 rats, and again we played to our numerical strength, slowly wearing down the rats and fouling their razors off the field.
A dull game in some ways, but the Monks showed that they can grind a game out if need be.
Post game:
Noob catcher ST+1 (yay!)
Thrower AG+1 (yay!)”
