The Falcons had a Witch with Mighty Blow Tackle missing the game.
Handicaps were:
It Wasn't Me (no effect as on a niggler -> see next)
Virus (3 Str4 Blodge Tackle players out)
Palmed Coin
Morleys (on 2 players)
Buzzing (on the Treeman(

Well, another day, another dice rape heh. My opponent played a good game, but then again I played a decent game too. However, the dice were a little too unhelpful today.
Game started ok with a score apiece. The Buzzing Tree give us both a laugh with two turns of Skull/Pows or Skull + Skull/Pow (no Block).
The score by the Wanderers took some luck as the ball carrier was left exposed when the Tree stufffed up and the Falcons got a two dice blitz on the ball carrier. The ball was passed deep, and a score was in sight.... 2 GFI away with no rerolls. The first was made, but the second was failed and the player stunned! A bit of greed there that did not pay off.
The Wanderers were able to pick up the ball, GFI pass avoding an intercept, catch, dodge and run the ball forward and hand off to a player in a tackle zone, who misclicked and did a 3+ dodge instead of a 2+ and score heh. A nice passage of rolls there.
At 1-1, my player with 15 spp snakes a pass in the backfield. Ball is stolen.
I manage to knock it loose, and use a RR to get a pow on a Wardancer to stop him stealing the ball back. The Falcons pick up the loose ball and throw it deep, but roll a 1 for the catch.
The Wanders make a 3+ and 2+ dodge, 3+ pick up, 2+ dodge, 3+ pass and 3+ catch to set up a 2-1 lead going into half time. Another nice set of rolls there.
At 2-1down, I get a blitz, but short players (and only one tackler) I got the ball but could not defend it. I go to setup a 2 dice blitz to steal it back. I snake a GFI to bring in a player with Guard. Another snakes at the wrong time.
At 3-1 down, I face a Perfect Defence and then I have a horrid time trying to set up a score. 1s galore. Finally made a difficult play involving 3+ catch, 2+ dodge, 2+ gfi, 2+ pass, 3+ catch, 2+ dodge. Amazing!
At 3-2 down and only 9 players, there were gaps everywhere for the Wanderers to set up a score and they did so with little difficulty.
At 4-2 down, the Falcons collect more 1s - one to pick up, and one to dodge out of a pick up, pass, catch, hand off, and 2 dodges - two ones form six rolls. A cage is set up and a challeging chance to score remains: 3+ dodge, 2+ dodge and 2 GFI. 3+ dodge (with rr so 89% chance) is failed and it is game over.
--------------------------------
An ok game to play for the Falcons. Recovering a player and skilling a 14 SPP guy were good outcomes. The un-even dice rolls made the game a bit less enjoyable, but that is this silly game.

Good luck to the Wanderers in the UI. ”
