“A tough start to the game with a pitch invasion affecting 6 of my opponent coach's team. A slow run by our side into the endzone took up most of the first half.

On the ensuing kickoff, our opponent's fans decided it was their turn to hit the pitch. Lucky for us, it only affected a single player. They carried the ball down the sidelines, their drive stalling about midway. We forced a turnover, but were unable to get to the ball. They recovered but failed a long bomb to a streaking pair on the other side of the pitch, preventing them from scoring before the half ended.

The start of the second half went well, one of our fans let us in on their offensive formation, coupled with a kick that put the ball right just on their side of mid field. They couldn't get to the kick before we did and we managed to drive up the field. The drive went even slower as they made some excellent blitzes and dodged away again, preventing our runner from moving more than a yard at a time.

In the final moments, our blockers finally cleared an open path to the end zone and with a second and third effort by our runner to score.

Summary of the game: Fans played a roll, definitely biased towards my team.
