“An excellent match, really enjoyable. I had a little bit of bad luck in the first half, some dropped balls and some failed dodges. Could be I keep mistaking my gouls for elves and expecting them to be able to do things like actually pick up a ball. Ah well. My opponent capatalised on my mistakes, of which there where probably many, and generally outplayed me at every turn. My first two drives choked and spluttered to the half way point before breaking down completley and his blitzers and that tart of a witch elf seemed to be everywhere on the field at once. Halftime and it is 2 - 0.

Happily my new tactic of electrifying the testicles of any player in the KO'ed box paid off and my whole team took to the field for the second half. We kicked off, one of his deep players got sconed by a rock and the doggies finally turned into the wolves they are meant to be. A niggle (apo'ed) a couple of badly hurts and some luck and we got the ball back and trudged slowly up the field. Score is 2-1 at turn 6. I was thinking "been a fun game, i will set up a little deep because 3-1 is an ugly scoreline". Then nuffle struck.

Kick off table said Perfect Defense but after his first move resulted in double 1's it was more of an offense really. I swarmed the ball, Spot bit the only player deep and their front line crumbled under sheer weight of numbers. My opponent Th3coach made an inspired play, slipping in and nabbing the ball but i had the whole feild covered due to my 4 or 5 man (zombie?) overlap. He flung it wide to a marked blitzer who caught it but on turn 8 of the second half we blitzed the ball carrier down, the goul picked it up, handed it off and snuck in for a most underserved tie.

All up a really enjoyable game against a better coach than me that i managed to squeeze a tied result out of. Happiness”
