“It was a very fun game versus a decent coach. Pity for my ratogre, he died after apo'ing him for a niggle, which I better didn't do, as he died anyway and a bit later my new gutter got niggled. Indeed a hard fought game, but funny...(as I like cas)
Thx for the game mate, and also for the funny match report :)”
“Fiercely contested match, which saw the death of one of my original BoBs - 43 match veteran UgoLef. Sadly enough, he was killed by a rock thrown from the crowd, and jury is still out on whether this was a case of FRIENDLY FIRE, as a violent outbreak in the orkish stands obliterated both the culprits and any evidence that may have been left there......
The match itself saw the rats take a 1-0 lead in turn 6, after slowing the game down somewhat ("Stalling" the Orkish crowd cried, to which the Rat head-coach simply replied "Nah, tactics - something you orks know nothing about" (Ed: Fair point), followed by the traditional skaven one fingered salute...
After the break the orks managed to screw up, with useless lineorc #1 failing a simple RR catch, which allowed the rat GRs to sprint away to make it 2-0.
Receiving again, the orks decided to play safe - there not being enough time to go for the draw, and formed a cage and moved slowly up the field. As part of this drive we ran into the terror that is (Ed: was...) Bhaal, the 6ST Rat ogre. Knocking it to the ground, we foul it, breaking its leg, but on runs the rat apoc to heal it. "Whoo dat touchin me dinna?", growls Ol Big'Ed, our friendly blue troll, and decides to eat the now-revived rat-ogre anyway, suceeding on the very next turn.
The orks, attempting not to slip on the now blood-soaked field, advance downfield, KOing rats left and right, before scoring in turn 16.
A good, hard fought, and very bloody match. It was just a pity that UgoLef had to be killed by a rock, and not die on the field in a true warrior-ork's fashion.
Good game Nachtogen - we shall meet again (and will bring more bodybags next time).”
