“And so, the Ogling Ogres were off to face another band of mead swilling norse guys! This time it turned out that they were masters of the art of drunken bloodbowl, and a real match for the dimwitted beefcakes!

The starting signal sounded, and the norse charged straight into the ogres near perfect defense, surprisingly knocking the lot of them aside and rushing past, quickly closing in on the endzone. A couple of ogres tried lumbering after them, but their clumsy feet were no match for the speedy nordic athletes.

First TD for the Northern Fire!

Second kick-off, a huge ogre supporter came running butt naked across the pitch, mowing down several of the vikings, before the security guards could subdue the brute!
The ogres tried forcing their way through the middle of the field, but an unwitting goblin went too close to the temporally downed Big Steve, the ogre big guy of the norse team, who rose up and pummeled the little rascal into the ground. The offense broke up into a confused skirmish around the middle section of the LoS. Somewhere within this dispute, one of the Northen Fires foremost linemen, Gary, got his head stomped flat into the ground by the ogre blocker Grum.

Second half, and the Oogling Ogres was once again recieving the ball. This time they conceived a cunning plan, which they forgot as soon as they had lined up along the LoS. Instead they resorted to punching the humans a lot. This worked quite well, and the norse line was pushed back along their right widezone.
Once again, the absentminded goblin carrying the ball placed himself within reach of a blitz, and got himself a mouthfull of dirt. The ball was loose, and the norse leaped at the chance and ran for another TD!

Another score for the norse!

The Ogres tried a last second gobolob, which failed misserably as the thrower fumbled the throwie and got him flying all the way to the K.O. booth.

An all out win for the Northern Fire!

As a footnote, two of the goblins were slayed during the fight - Snottbald and Bebbledrool - both which showed good star potential. Their remains were subsecuently eaten in a feast to commemorate their deeds on the court.”
