The first half began with the Westies receiving, and attempting the first drive of what was to prove to be a frustrating match. Two turns later, and having been forced to use up both RRs, little progress had been made.

CBB then picked up a dropped ball, and attacked. After things got tied up in a Nuffle-arranged-scrum for most of turns 3-7, CBB finally squeezed free to score in T8.

The second half started with 11 v 10 - not good for the outgunned Westies. They defended valiantly, but it was soon 2-0 (and 11 v 8 due to a rising KO count). One last desperate attack down the flank led to yet another turnover, and CBB cantered home in T16 to make it 3-0.

Amusingly, the Westies' most successful turn was the final one, in which they managed a completion and a CAS - it's a pity we didn't manage that in the first turn, when it may have made a difference to the game.

Well played Tricktickler, and hopefully we'll meet in the end of season playoffs (1st v 8th?), but on this form, I doubt it. Still, no Deaths or SIs, and a few SPPs to give us hope.

Noteable fact: We only managed to get more than a stun for the very first time in T16 - a belated BH. Not a single KO. Must remind the Westies to remove soft gloves before the match..... ”
