Dodge saved the amazons throughout the first half with the Vanguards not being able to throw enough clean pows to take command and keep the ladies in place, leading to an open half that ended 1-1.

The second half begins with the vanguards losing favour with nuffle and virtually nothing going their way. Numerous skulls and pushback blocks in contrast to Pows from the amazons led to a quick score from the ladies to take the game to 2-1. The game continued with the Vanguards struggling to put moves together and even the tried and tested guarder cage was leaking more than the London water works.
A T16 foul from the amazons (admitedly it wasn't just out of spite but in an attempt to stop a sideline score) angered and possibly even inspired the Vanguards to pull out a T16 equalizer which should have happened several turns earlier.

I had thought this may be the game to take me back over CR150, but it pushed me back down to 149, but them's the breaks. You really can't complain at 3 skill rolls and a FF+.
