This was a luck fest. The dice were all over the place for both of us, extremely cruel at times then amazingly friendly.

Was a fun match against a fun coach.

Some reminders for later.

Started in defence. Snakes.

Perfect Defence, double skulls.

1 Dodge, rerolled. 1 dice blitz - Skull - RIP Witch!

3 turns ended in a row by the Falcons with a one or a skull!

Then my opponent miscounts the assist and does a one dice block he though was two in his favour. The result? A serious injury MNG on my centre heh. Man the game was looking like a dice rape...

Then some awesome luck after I somehow managed to level the scores.

On defence, 2 GFI and a one dice Blitz got a Dodge/Pow on his ball carrier after rerolling the hit. Then 2 GFI to get to tball by Sergral Doomsinger - an AG5 Lino who picked up the ball in a tackle zone, then threw a long bomb over a couple of Laureates (luckily no NOS catchers), the ball was caught and 2 GFI later, a lucker 2-1 lead going into the second half!

Second half, the Falcons started with the ball. A rock stunned one Laureates player, but the Falcons had difficulty opening up the middle to send potential scorers through and a 3+ dodge with Dodge reroll was failed (1 in 9 chance) with the ball carrier in range of the Laureates' Str4 MA9 Catcher. Things looked awful for the Falcons.

Then uberluck, the Catcher failed his dodge!!! There was a huge gap in the Laureates line (the Catcher was next to the guy stunned by a rock) and the Falcons easily flooded the Laureates backfield with this bit of undeserved fortune and set up a TD to take a 3-1 lead.

The game had a few more twists and turns after this... the Laureates under pressure threw a long pass over a couple of Falcons (needing a 6) and set up a TD, but with no RR left, the ball carrier fell over in the end zone and the ball was thrown upfield to where the Falcons could recover it and eventually score.

Injury time increased the game length and the Laureates pulled off a good score, then they got a Blitz! on their kick to apply pressure on the Falcons. The Falcons managed to dodge a doulbe 1 dodge with their ball carrier by blocking elsewhere first and getting a double skulls that was rerolled heh. The Falcons were unable to free their Thrower in the end and had to dodge anyway and this time without RR but he made the dodge and pass and skilled up a rookie Blitzer in the process.

A fun game against a fun opponent. We both had some awful bad luck this game, with the first few turns looking like an absolute disaster for the Falcons. However, the bad luck then went to my opponent and I caught some great breaks, like the score at the end of the first half. Some absolutely magical rolls. Second half start was a luck gift too, with my ball carrier exposed and no field position only to be given free rein after his blitzing player failed his ddoge on the way through to hitting my buy with the ball.

Anyways, the best was to come after the match, with my opponent's Str4 MA9 Catcher not aging at 126! Nice one! Anyways, no permanent injuries and some money and no aging, a great day out!
