“The game started bad for the Chaos Dwarves as their Minotaur ran straight into a Norse Wall of flesh and got itself seriously injured. That really set the tone of the game. While the CD were struggling to do anything (not easy to pick up a ball with ag 2) the Norse ran around them , always going for the ball first. When Freja was brutally killed by Hoboblin Ewon Fodder, the Norse Ogre Röskva saw red and blitzed the little critter into oblivion. The norse scored easy TDs when, due to extremely bad dice-rolling, the CDs dropped the ball. The next player to go into the KIA-box was Fyel Combuster who also came out wanting when blocking a norseman. From there the game was pretty much open and shut. The Skull Bashers continued their trend of rolling poorly, and the norse, being more agile, danced around them like pixies.

The concept of not having any re-rolls or apothecary gave every roll of the dice an ominous feel. You really had to concentrate on what was important, and leave low-odds blocks until last in the turn. Whenever you could you went with the easy alternative, rather taking time to do something safely than risking a turnover or an injury. I believe that the one who can master these things will win the Iron Legion.”
