“Hear ye! Hear ye! The blood laid thick on the bloodbowl pitch this afternoon, as the Sigmarite Sluggers fought the savage orcs of the Soulent Green! It was a terrible sight to behold, as the Sluggers were literally torn limb from limb as they valiantly fought against overwhelming odds!

Many men, and the new ogre, lay mangled and bruised in the dug out. Von Hetzer injured his back and sadly to say, the venerable Brother Reinprecht payed with his life as Thruggnash Woundghoul pounded his head into jelly. The men, bravely defending the honour of the Emperor, staggered from the relentless assault of the greenskin brutes, but still they never swayed!

They managed to hold the orcs for the whole first half, and score a quick touchdown in the second. Thereafter they showed what imperial men are made of, and planted their boots in the mud and took a beating that would have dropped a Squiggoth! They managed to slow the orcs and in the end made a heap of their own sore bodies over the ball to keep the foul things from getting at it!

They defeated the green menace with the grit that can only be the sign of Sigmars watching prescence! It was truelly a glorious day, and a lesson for the orcs: don't mess with the humies!”
