“In dire need of recovery, after the hard fought match against the Soulent Green, the Sluggers were approached by a mangy skaven, who assured them that his feeble rats would be an easy match for the humans. Haughty and arrogant as imperials go, the humans accepted, thinking they would bash some dodgy rodent rumps!
The first touchdown was by the humans, as they countered a failed pass by the rats and assured a safe rout down the left widezone. This was looking to become an easy match!
Boy were they mistaking! The vermin showed to be of an especially vicious Clan Moulder breed, and they were not cowed by the humans initial success. They scratched at their faces and nibbled at their boots, and soon the onslaught started to tell on the Sluggers numbers.
Finaly, in the latter part of the second half, only two blitzers, a lineman and the ogre were still conscious. Facing ten of the screetching ratmen they were unable to stop the game-tieing touchdown!
The Sigmarite Sluggers concidered themselves lucky, as the game ended up a DRAW!”
