“For the first time, the Sigmarite Sluggers faced a human team, a rowdy bunch called the Odd Boys!

In the first half, the Odd Boys started as the recieving team and t formed a cage in the center of the LoS, pushing the Sluggers defenses backwards and taking care not to keep too close, as the sigmarites had the advantage in close quarters with their superior blocking skill.

The sigmarites responded by quickly closing the gap and surrounded the opponents. The offensive was stalled, and finaly broken, as they gained the advantage in numbers, claimed the ball and scored in the last minute of the half.

During the second half, the Odd Boys were getting increasingly frustrated by the growing number of K.O:s and injuries they were recieving. Their frowns were eased as Edgar "The elegant" managed to pull off a dastardly stunt, as he dodged through the somewhat slack cage of sigmarites; snatched the ball and darted off towards the endzone, avoiding the responding blitz and scored a touchdown!

Envigoured by the catchers efforts, sevral of the K.O:s regained consciousness and put up a perfect defense at the following lineup. The Sluggers were attentive to this, and changed flanks by moving a small cage down the left widezone, while blocking off any paths of intervention. They managed to control their opponents due to their greater numbers, and the fact that they alone fielded an ogre big guy.

Finaly they scored after stalling the game the last couple of minutes, mainly because they wanted it all to end as quickly and smoothly as possible.

It was a win for the Sigmarites Sluggers!

After the game, von Hetzer uttered the following comment: "It feels good to be back from the injury. My back still hurts, but the apothecary sais it'll be ok as long as I take it easy with the heavy lifting. The Odd Boys put up a good fight, pulling off some crazy stunts! Give them a couple of games, and they'll be a real challange!"”
