“The Woodland Dash needed an opponent that wouldn't bash them to hell, and they got one, and instead found themselves to be on the good side of a bashing fest.

They recieved in the first half and quickly formed a side wall deep in the opponent's half. With everyone else running to catch the ball, it was hard for the other team to mark them all. And of course, they couldn't. So, the pass was made to Phalant to score after three turns.

This left 6 turns for the Gardeners to score back. However, poor positioning and dwindling numbers left the ballcarrier open several times. There was a skirmish and the Gardeners scrambled to pick up the ball. But there was no where safe to go, and thus the Dash knocked it loose. Orkanhime, the team's lone Wardancer and only positional player, caught the bouncing ball and ran across the entire pitch. Two opponents were sent to stop hm from behind, but they failed to knock him down as he dodged into the endzone just at the halftime break. Hafltime score: 2 - 0.

A beautiful kick which landed in their endzone made it hard for the Gardeners to come back. They were outnumbered 10 - 8 to start the half and it only got worse. Cehadasn broke his ribs earlier in the first half and the apothecary was used on a niggling injury caused by either a dodge or a gfi. So they couldn't handle a brawl, which is exactly what the Dash gave them.

With the catcher, the only positional for the Gardeners, way back in his own half, only one was sent to catch him as Orkanhime and the others pounded the Gardeners into the turf. Eventually, Etahald was killed and it was all lost as there were only two turns left.

Even though Orkanhime was knocked out, the Dash was able to prevent a score from the Gardeners, snatching the victory from them with a 2 - 0 beating.

We got these statements from coach Oblitzamanger after the game. "I didn't like this game as much as I do with other races. I feel like this team relies on luck way too much. However, it was in abundance today and so they won as a result. I want to thank coach Dimco for the game. He was a good sport. The game must not have been fun for him after we killed his player. But he got enough money to buy one back. Now, I must go to praise Nuffle."

Coach Oblitzamanger has become extremely religious as of late. He knows his recent victories are all due to Nuffle...

The Dash earned 16 points towards the Blitz Invitational, but are still only fourth. They are waiting to buy another positional player, and Orkanhime learned Tackle whilst Huzim learned Block. They are just three games away from the Championships of the Blitz Invitational.”
