“First game in a month for the Shadows - after taking a series of horrible beatings that sent them back to training camp (and looking for new recruits).
The game began with the skaven scoring in T2 - what can you do vs. two 1-turners and 3 double skulls in 4 successive blocks.
We then received and drove downfield, attempting to take out of a few of the rats enroute - no such luck, as we had the soft gloves on today....
1-1 at the turnaround.
Second half, faced with the twin 1-turner threat, we played the only sensible tactics which was to slowly move for a T16 TD, buring up the rats' RRs, and leave then a 1-turner chance wiith no RRs. Well, it nearly worked, scoring in T16 , but leaving them with 1 RR.
The rats got the ball to 1-turner rat, who scutled away downfield, made the first two dodges, but failed the third and KOed itself.
"who said elves were the best ball players?" - well, Mr Rat, we did!
Result for the Shadows!
Plutonium picked up 2 TDs, and a skill! At last.....”
