“I lost this game because of the client... last turn of the game it screwed up and when we restarted the all important scatter roll was perfect for the humans. With some serious luck in the end (perfect scatter, catch the scattering ball 6+, dodge 4+, dodge 3+, gfi 2+) he won the match.
If luck had been the only factor, then fine. Nothing to say about it. But when a client hickup changes the flow of events I feel I have a right to be at least a little grouchy. ;)
“why do people do it?
blah blah luck luck crap
taking out an isolated incident always makes it seem lucky or unlucky or unfair or however u want it to be portrayed.
like if i were to say the 1st touch down scored by The Followers was the result of an 8+ intercept 4+ 3+ dodging(with dodge) a long throw a catch and a go for it. in a game were no rerolls are allowed or apoths. and then i worked out the probability of all these rolls paying off instead of my initial 3+ pass(with pass) and 3+catch(with catch). it would seem a tad unfair or lucky or unlucky depending from which perspective it were viewed. When u enter a league with no apothacaries or rerolls you expect bad things to happen to your team very bad things and as karma luck will almost definately come give u pay back in the not so distant future you should try to be at least a little sporting about it.
Any who well played and good luck next time”
