#11 Antioch Forestguard – Smashed Knee (NI)
We survived! My hat goes off to Bacillen. Mate, you are a great coach and fun to play. A great addition to the SWL crew. Thanks for a nail bitting finish.

The Stingers only just managed to equalize in the last turn of the game. I feel I robbed the Orc of a well deserved victory. They played icy calm all game, rarely making a mistake. (As opposed to my dismal 3 failed completions in a row .. how did I get away with a draw? Highway robbery I tell you!)

Twahnlow votes:

3pts - Steem Trane, he is everything an orc blitzer should be. His tackle and mighty blow skills kept me eyeing his movements all game and tripped up a few Stinger dodges.

2pts - Jersey Slinga, this Black Orc threw an elfish like pass to equalize late in the first half and also ran in a TD to put the Orc on top. Showed us elves how its done. We are so embarressed!

1pts - Brik Skithaus, what a bruiser. Went onto the field and acted trollish in the good blocker sense. Mashed two Stingers (as he should) and never went down, always stood his ground.

5pts - Coach Bacillen, a very honourable coach, good spirits and heaps of fun to play against. I'd play you anyday mate.

Twahnlow Votes

3 Votes Skirmish Gladerunner
Maybe the Crash were too much in awe of this guy, but honestly he needed watching and was never up to any good as far as we were concerned. Got a lot of attention and still played an excellent game.

2 Votes Ferryn WyvernSting
Knocked the odd orc out, defended well and generally made the field a safer place for his team mates (within reason).

1 Vote Tahmas Spellweaver
If the catching out there today was as clean as Tahmas' handling and throwing the Crash may have been much worse off ! Didn't get shown up at all by his more experienced throwing team mate.

edit: Shatter just likes me because I didn't DP him ! I just figured no point in leaving a troll in need of CA's on the bench for a DP when even 4 of those elves would be able to score past me easy like (and no ref would let me foul off 8+ of them). I guess this logic looks very sporting of me ! (I doubt Mr A. Forestguard up there would agree as he copped a nasty trolling). Other unbashy coaches take note: not fouling is entirely case by case, and wardancers are abominations who must be fouled at all costs...
