Unfortunately the deadheads proved more troublesome this time than in there previous incarnation. After a poor first half performance by the ASBO, not helped by a blind ref (Whose the necromancer in disguise was the crowds chant) The ASBO limped in to the second half a score and 2 players down. But the fightback was on. Powering back into the game and equalising near the end of the 2nd half. Whilst the ASBO were never clearly in command the deadheads new they were in a tough game.

Going into extra time a more experienced coach might have sat in and hoped to luck the coin toss but not ASBO taking the game to the Skulls a risky TD attempt backfired and the skulls had time and position to easily score.

Rakalph blames the bad blood at the end of the game between a communications breakdown. We had stopped playing as there was no chance to recover the ball and prevent the score. Also considering the fatigue factor felt by both teams the thinking was the khufukhaf would just run the TD in and finish the game, but suddenly the mummy started to block players that had considered the match over whilst groaning about SPP's. At this point a punch up ensued between both teams. With this history between them and a grudging respect between both coaches the fans of both teams are already looking forward to the next time these teams meet. Which will obviously be no quarter given or asked for.”
