“Having only suffered 1 badly hurt player in their first 2 games the sewer squad accepted the challenge of some bloodthirsty Lizards and suffered as a consequence. The sewer squad were always struggling to keep their noses above water against some heavy blocking from the opposition sauri. The first half started with lots of blocking, lots of rats on the ground, and ultimately the near death of a gutter, and more injuries to the rest. The Lizards scored with the ratmen unable to pull off a 2-turner to level the scores. A mistake with the timing and accuracy of an early pass nearly cost the match at the start of the second before Slewth nabbed the loose ball to send his freind running for the Endzone. Opposition coach Kithor admitted "i hate gutter runners". Doesn't everybody. The later stages of the second half were dominated by the Lizards unable to protect their ball carrier, but unfortunately the rats were unable to capitalise as block after block failed to fell the sneaky little skink, who eventually after lots of blocks, blood and turnovers he managed to make a last minute dash for the winning TD.
