“1st half began with a pitch invasion which took out about half of both teams. Elves tried to pass the ball upfield but muffed the catch to the outside of the pocket. Zons grabbed it in traffic, made a cage, and dodged into it. Zons kept giving the elves shots at the ballcarrier and finally traded possessions until it bounced out of the scrum. Zon blitzer blocked instead of blitzing and the zons were unable to get to the ball. 0-1 at half.
2nd half began with the kickoff to the line of scrimmage. Zons caged and were unable to make headway. Tried working back left but were unable to get the elves to overcommit. Finally got 2nd player into the open field. Marked a blitzer and blitzed with the other free player - double blockpows, reroll skull and a blockpow, tried to dodge away and ko'd herself. Lone zon was repeatedly knocked down by the witchelf and unable to get to the endzone for a low percentage pass. Final attempt at breaking out withered under failed gfi's and the final turn saw the elves screen against any chance to chainpush a potential scorer free. 0-1 final.
Texan simply did a better job of positioning in this match and his defense never allowed my cage to move forward. Looking forward to a rematch.”
