“Having survived longer than their orky captors had hoped, the Prisoners of Gork were pitted against another tribe of orcs, so Gork could once again decide the fate of the captured Norsemen. Against the odds the band of prisoners pulled out their best performance yet, a kick in the face for their Greenskinned captors
In the first half the Orcs piled forwards, engaging the Prisoners at every opportunity, intent on grinding them to dust. But a the brave norsemen put up a fight, and refused to leave the field, before a few warriors evaded the clutches of the black orcs, to take down the ball carrying gobbo and after a scramble from both sides Conan managed to get the pass away to Sjoergen, who sprinted away for the TD.
In the second period, the Prisoners setup looking to go for the early score and secure the win, but a perfect defence made things very difficult. The drive down the sidelines was stopped in it's tracks and the orcs were eyeing the ball carrier menacingly, the situation looking quite hopeless. But Conan dodged through the ranks of orcs and looked set to recieve the ball downfield in a far from safe position. The ball sailed through the air towards him. only to be snatched out of the blizzard filled air my Rodney the orc blitzer. And so the orcs set about driving upfield.
Again the mighty black orcs smashed the brave norsmen to the ground, but they got up and fought on before the orcs could secure the ball carrier. Again Sjoergen picked up the loose ball and this time there was no interception as Conan sprinted in to secure the win. The orcs were getting angry, again and again battering the Prisoners' Scrimmage line but were unable to draw blood. The Norse backed off and hit around the sides, again getting to grips with the goblin ball carrier in the backfield. The orcs evaded this attack but not for long as Spurge hammered Marty into the turf and the ball bounced staight into his arms. The scrambling orc defence couldn't take the Norseman down and he was free to silence the orcs fans who couldn't believe their own prisoners were beating them.
The final blow came just before the whistle, as the Nashers tried a passing play for a consolation score, but the pass was wayward. Conan scooped up the ball from under a trolls nose, dodged away and let loose an inch perfect pass to the waiting Sturm, who had sprinted downfield praying for such an event and a salt in the wound score.
There was only time left for the angry orc fans to get the ref in protest as the Prisoners marched triumphantly back to their cells......”
