“On paper, this game was a dead cert elven win... But I accepted the challenge anyway... both coaches had trouble finding games, so why not!

1st half handicaps included, Doom & Gloom, I'm the Greatest, Smelling Salts... and Knuckledusters, which I gave to Headstone Harry II... and boy did he use them, with 2 casualties and a number of KO's throughout the match. Zeus and Quetzalcoatl got the Greatest, but Zeus niggled prematch anyway, so the effect was cancelled out.

My undead received a slowly trudged up the field, beating away elf defenders as much as they could... scored in turn 8, leaving at least 5 elves KO'd... but all but 1 game back for the 2nd half, except the Ag5 Leap Lion Warrior Futsu-Nushi-no-Kami who sat the rest of the game out.

The undead continued to defend well and break armour with more KO's and BH's much to the disgust of Kanzo who was getting beaten by undead and nuffle simultaneously.

When the undead managed to get the ball off the elves, who had made a desperate through the middle play after a perfect undead defence had been rolled. Headstone Harry II not only put the elf down, but picked up the ball and gfi into the company of this team mates. From there on in we trudged back up the field again.... however, our defences were broken as the elves desperately rolled a -2db blitz with the strip ball skill, only to watch dumbfounded as a skeleton picked it up off the ground. He then handed off to Tombstone Ted II who gratefully scored his 1st star player points in 8 games.

Thanks for the game Kanzo... your luck sucked and mine rocked... doesn't bode well for my next game as I think I used up all my luck in this game for this month!”
