“Although two of the sisters (Piper and Emaline) were seriously injured, the team managed to hold this one together. The front line made a couple lucky blocks at the beginning of this one, making a hole just big enough for Emaline to squeeze through for an early td. However, the opponents made sure next kickoff, that she wouldn't be back for another.
Again, late in the first half, luck strikes again as the Chicks score a turnover and run it in for one more.
Second half was a different story however. To The Pain, had better coverage on their minotaur, nice formations, and just pushed their way down field. Another serious injury... a knockout... the Chicks were getting nervous having already used their apothecary. But once again, luck was on their side, as they escaped the match with a shutout.
To The Pain is definately a formidable opponent, and we can only hope next time we meet, to be as lucky as we were today. If it weren't for Lady Luck... this would have been a much different outcome.”
“Well, we played "to the pain" with 2 SIs to the opposing team and one death that was successfully treated by the apothecary, but the Chicks definitely outplayed us: containing the minotaur, dodging around us as if we weren't even there and generally being annoyingly effective. We might have gotten on the board if I'd been smarter about pushing around the players in his blockade but the game would still have been theirs.
A very well played game by my opponent and a highly deserved win.”
