“Compound takes an early beating after the first defensive turn; only one block was attempted resulting in a KO! Strong coaching allowed the aggressive orcs to exploit the extra player and eventually the humans were down to a handful of players who were all on the ground. However, the orc ballcarrier enjoyed the carnage and stood at the goalline taunting his opponents.
Against a human team that refuses to give up, stalling is a risky option... The ballcarrier got knocked down into the endzone, the human fans made a good reentry throw, and the orcs were unable to score before halftime.
In the second half, Compound came out aggressively while the Uruks seemed slightly cautious. Iena's halftime punishment must have been brutal and it appeared that each orc was only focusing on not making a mistake. The human side kept applying defensive pressure until they eventually came away with the ball and the game's only TD.

An interesting game for sure. A few minor mistakes by each coach led to major twists in the game. I learned quite a few things (good and bad) from both my own play and my opponent's. It definitely gave me something to think about in terms of stalling!

I am looking forward to a rematch. I expect it to be another good showdown!”
