“For the first time, the Sluggers were up against their friendly neighbours from Norsca! The game was fought in a friendly spirit, and nothing worse than some bad bruises to the head were recieved on any of the teams. There was one mortal wound against one of the norse, but it was treated successfully by the teams apothecary.
It was evident that the norse, as their customs advocate, had been drinking heavily during the pre-match sequence. A few of them were so intoxicated that they thought they were elves and tried dodging multiple times through the imperials tackle zones.
This was the main reason for the first of the Sluggers touchdowns, as the ball bounced out in the audience and was thrown in within reach of Götze. After a small fight for the possession ofthe ball, it ended up with Immelmann, who then scored.
The last and final score was made after a failed touchdown by the norse, as the blitzer intent on picking up the ball fumbled it and dropped it within reach of the opposition. A handover, a pass, a short sprint, and the touchdown was a fact.
The Coach thanks his collegue Monkey for a good game well fought!”
